What is best Linux Firewall GUI for mid-level technical user?
I basically want all in/out access shut down by default and then just open up items as necessary. I just installed Ubuntu, then loaded Lokkit to get something running. Of course now a lot of things are not running on the server like samba, mssql, etc. I found a bunch like Injoy but I do not have all day to determine which one runs down the middle of power vs ease of use. Lokkit is to simple, configuring IP tables is more than I want to try to learn before lunch

Well I think i found one by myself. I loaded firestarter from the synaptic package manager and it is just what I was looking for. IpCop wasn’t listed, and I didn’t not want to add the complexity of a non-standard install this morning. Thanks all.
