Okay so i’ve been trying to learn some BSD for future applications (i run tons of operating systems through virtual machine software) but so far FreeBSD failed, OpenBSD failed, PCBSD ran fine but i hate that it uses KDE, and Desktop BSD looks really good but it won’t get past the X config during start up. it says it’s gonna configure my graphical system and then goes completely black

(their key combination to solve the issue does nothing whatsoever)

Both of them are Unix like operating systems. Which one do you like better?

I prefer openSUSE.

I have it on CD/DVD how to do it?

i dont care if it is common or very rare to have. I am lookind into building a computer and want to know all of the operating systems.

I run a server with a few websites on it, a Counter-Strike: Source server and a Ventrilo server. I use SSH to connect to the server and do what I need, the server runs the CentOS Linux Operating System. Today an unhappy gamer who got banned used a BotNet to DDoS my server, bringing down the game server all my websites and the Ventrilo server.
Is there anyway for me to see who is pinging me and/or a log of who is pinging/has pinged me via SSH?
