an error “Unable to retrieve software information” is displayed in fedora core5 when i tried to install any new software downloaded from internet.I have tried many solutions no use and i have reinstalled fedora5 many times no use of it.what can i do for this plz suggest a good solution iam using dual os winxp+fedora5 and my processor is Intel 915 chipset processor 3.0 ghz ok iam waiting for hopefull answer!!

iam very interested in working with suse linux latest version&fedora latest version but i have no much bandwidth to download the linux os so offer me any Email id’s for recieving these linux (i.e),fedora latest version or suse latest version by postal or courier with free of cost…..
please help me!…….and give suitable remedy for it.Iam awaiting for the idea it’s urgent….please!

…or is bsd more easy and useful than UNIX.If so where i can get these operating systems.I can’t spend 40$ for them, coz iam in india.I am not able to download the freebsd image(3.4gb) coz my internet connection in unreliable.So are there any outlets in India or any magazines with which these operating systems come with.
buddy, I was speaking about the shipping cost for getting the dvd from free bsd mall, when i said 40 bucks.Thanx for the download manager idea, i did not think about it. thanx mate.

hey there…iam a student and i need to download the freebsd operating systems source code for my project . I want to download all the versions of it .Can someone help me with this please…coz i spent 2 weeks looking for the source code..Thanks a lot

Iam a computer science student and i want to download the source code of the freebsd operating system . I want to download all the versions because i need it for my project. Can anyone tell me how i can download them. I think i have to use cvs or svn to do it??
