Am running Fedora Core 5 (I’ve tried both 32 and 64 bit versions) on the following hardware:

AMD Athlon +3200 64 2.0 Ghz
1 GB DDR RAM
Biostar GeForce 6100 M9 Motherboard
160 GB Maxtor SATA Hard drive

After between 5 and ten minutes of use, it freezes. Keyboard and mouse are unresponsive with my only option to do a hard boot. Any insight you could provide would be appreciated.

Is there a way to go online threw the usb port? My eth port stoped working and I cant find a option to connnect threw usb please anyone help this is gettting on my nervs! I must say Fedora is great I love it and I want to use it to its full power!!
I shoudl ahve said this Its the port on my modem not the port on my pc.

i have fedora core 5 and i have intel536ep modem.how can i install its driver as i am an amateur.help me?

can anybody help me for the same.I have installed real player but it dosen’t play video i have update fedora core 5 but the same result.
