Loading ...moving MySQL databases files *.frm , *.MYD etc?
i have mySQl database files (such as *.frm , *.MYD) in my past linux CentOs and mysql5 .for some reason i should renew installation for CentOs 5.3 and i really need to copy this databases file to my new Linux (and MySQL on it ) to reach the information over it.
tha’ts necessary plz help me ,how can i reach my information in my database file, and i dont have any export or back up file ,

hi again , but my FS is the same (ext2) on centOs 5.3 ,what can i do ?

A database is made up of a file system in which there is much dependency on each other and the structure is critical.
Therfore you must back-up and resotre a database to a new location.
No other way possible at all.
Downloaded many times from them.
